Stella Blue With New Hits Again In 2010

She came out of the misty Ozark Mountians, with her own special style, and a rich full voice that is guaranteed to grab your attention...and keep it.





Once you've heard her sing, it's no surprise that she has worked with people such as, Jim Dandy's BLACK OAK ARKANSAS, ANDY TANAS of Krokus/BOA, ZAK PERRY BAND, and NINTH LIFE, just to mention a few.

At a young age and with a zest for life, Stella began traveling the US. It was while searching for opportunity, and learning the art of tattoo, that she found the street musicians of Ocean Beach, in San Diego Ca. Their guitar called her, with it's own magical spell, and though she wasn't yet ready to put down roots, the guitar continued to weave it's magic until, while traveling, she made it her own.

This wonderful, gifted, young woman actually taught herself to play, sing and write music. After developing her style for about six years, she had her own sultry, bluesy, rock style that is difficult to label, and impossible to forget.

You can hear the musicians and singers that have inspired Stella in her music. A partial list includes, Stone Temple Pilots, Al Di Meola, Tesla, Cher, Sass Jordan, Joe Cocker, Leon Russell and, CSNY.
Stella has always been backed by talented players, and so it's no surprise that she works with Steve "Maddog" Call. Instumental in shaping the development of music, Steve played the entire decade of the seventies as a musician and performer for, Shelter Records and A&M Records. Steve has also played with such well knowns as, Leon Russell, Pure Prarie League, Quicksilver, Gap Band, Taj Mahal, David Allen Coe, Bob Dylan, Joe Cocker's Maddogs and Englishmen. It's no wonder he is considered not only versatile, but also a vital member of the band. The proof is in their music.

Other musicians who have played with The Stella Blue Band are, Winston Blair of Martina Mc Bride, Danny Diaz of War, Earl Grigsby of Charlie Daniels Band, Tommy De Wolf, Leslie Wright, Jonny Krewinghouse, Dave Swords, and Jerry Sticks.


Fans of Melissa Ethridge, Sass Jorden, 4 Non Blondes, and Janis Joplin will love this bands music and stage show.

Stella has been working very hard on The Stella Blue Band album to be released this Spring. Stella's hopes for 2010 are that her music will be blessed, and bless all who listen to it.

Sugar Bear was always a sideman playing guitar and backup vocals. Touring as N-syncs lead guitar player in studio and live. Touring with acts such as The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Gloria Estevan and The Miami Sound Machine, Goo Goo Dolls, R.E.M, Black Eyed Peas, Aha, Nazareth, Police, John Cafferty and the Beaver Brown Band, and too many more to mention. When his band stopped (on the road) after years everybody went home brokenhearted. Sugar Bear landed a job in a hotel on a stool playing acoustic and playing anything someone would yell out. For the first time making money.



Another sideman Jim Burmeister was unemployed and joined the act. Shortly after Jimmy Brotherton was added from the old N-sync line up and became The Beaver Brothers, doing shows with The Dare Devils, Van Zants, Head East, Badfinger and so on After a wonderful run as The Beaver Bros. It was time for a change. Kort Elsworth/Drums, his brother Ronzo/Bass/Vocals, had played and sang together since birth became Sugar Bear Trio. Opening for many acts, playing clubs concerts, events and yes weddings. Air play of "Thats How Love" twice a day on ABC Radio Network.Air play in daily rotation for several other songs on all the affiliate ABC Radio Network check rotation meer music. We are getting played every day on 11 Loud City affiliate stations and are in the rotation on those 11 stations. We are mini touring playing every show in site. We are playing Bars and those venues are club format mixed with covers and our material. We also do a 30, 60, and 90 minute original shows in the concert venues. In her own words: I am a singer, songwriter & a bass player, this is my music. I was born in Tel Aviv, Israel. I’ve been playing bass and singing in bands since my early teens. All of this led me to here and now. Creating music for me is a way of life; an attempt to fill the void that other things have created. It is a passion, an addiction, a source of great pleasure and an awful pain.

Jodie Rivera AKA VenetianPrincess is a bit unusual, in that generally everything she has done was parody. She's become a top internet and youtube personality. There is no doubt that she will take her place alongside other well known parody artists, such as Weird Al Yankovich and Dr. Demento, as tops in her industry. Since she's as beautiful as she is talented, I'm sure she's one artist who's fun and frolic won't soon be forgotten. You can pick up her music in time for Christmas, if you hurry to her

This is just one of the songs she's done. I've also used two other pieces, in my stories because, they were simply too good not to share.
